Watch Stadium of 90,000 Patriots Honor Tom Petty, Send Big Message to NFL!

Hey NFL, you may want to take note of this.

This is what it’s all about.

Football.  Fun.  Honor.  Sports.  America.

College football has figured it out and that’s why they still pack stadiums over with over 90,000 fans!  The NFL is tanking and is officially the least popular sport in America!  Wow.

Here’s what happened at the Florida Gators game yesterday.  A new fight song broke out.  But not just any song.  It was “Won’t Back Down” by Tom Petty.

The song was played right before the fourth quarter, and the fans immediately started to sing together, 90,000 in unison, declaring we “Won’t Back Down”.  The song was a tribute to rocker Tom Petty who died this week at age 66.

Memo to the NFL:  this is how it’s done.  Unity, not divisive politics.  Patriotism, not attacks at our anthem.  Got it?

The message was loud and clear:  we can get our football fix with college football and we don’t need your NFL!  You can shove it where the sun don’t shine!  And we “Won’t Back Down” so don’t think we’re changing our minds anytime soon!

Watch the song here, it’s an incredible moment:

Tom Petty’s song was also used on the cold open of Saturday Night Live.  With none other than Jason Aldean himself singing the song, it was a perfect pairing to cap a wild and sad week.

Take a moment to enjoy this:

How about you?

Will you watch the NFL ever again?

Do you stand with Trump and Pence?
