Joy Behar Says “Americans Will Come Around To Socialism”

The day Americans “come around” to socialism en mass is the day the fate of the greatest nation in human history is irreparably sealed. Yet, Americans remain incredibly individualistic and ambitious.

Those two characteristics do not jibe with an entire nation of American dream-chasers suddenly deciding to embrace government-insured mediocrity. Don’t tell Joy Behar that, though, as she firmly believes that the great coming of American Democratic socialism is on the horizon.

The co-host of ‘The View’ was engaged in a heated back-and-forth exchange with fellow co-host Meghan McCain regarding the state of socialism among Americans, today. Obviously a Democratic socialist acolyte, Behar couldn’t help but challenge Meghan and the notion that Americans overwhelmingly reject socialism.

The Twitter-verse was quick to lend a hand to Behar, explaining to her the rampant failings of socialism and offering an explicit and recent example:

Today Joy Behar said that people would come around once they knew what Socialism is about. Joy, please go to Venezuela and stay just a few days living with that form of government (hope they would keep you), then come back and tell us about Socialism. You have no clue.

ABC is furthering the cause of socialism, whether they like it or not, by continuing to allow Joy Behar to run her mouth and sing its praises.

Finally, this Twitter user kindly explains to Joy exactly how socialism would impact her, were it implemented in its truest form:

These tweets were clearly in response to Behar’s delusional take on socialism and why Americans haven’t quite come around on it as she has. Fox News highlights the heated conversation on ABC’s ‘The View’:

“During a discussion about Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg, the gay mayor of South Bend, Ind., and his recent rise in popularity, Meghan McCain referred to a recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll suggesting many Americans would be okay with a homosexual president.

The same poll, McCain pointed out, found only 25 percent would approve of having a socialist as president.

McCain’s liberal co-host Joy Behar then interjected that voters will ‘come around’ on socialism once they get a better understanding of what it is – and the conversation got heated.

‘People are smart,’ McCain said, to which Behar shot back: ‘So am I.’

McCain wrapped up the testy segment by saying: ‘I’m just trying to explain… Democratic Socialists could be leading you toward the path of Trump getting re-elected. Instead, I’m told I don’t understand what a Democratic Socialist is. I assure you, Joy, I do.'”

Democratic socialists will play a role in the reelection of Donald Trump in 2020, and the Democrats aren’t hiding the ball. Their best shot at upending a Trump repeat is to find someone who can toe the line between their fringe-dwelling base and capitalism-friendly moderates.

However, the chances of the Democrats nominating a moderate are slim to none. Each currently-declared candidate already appears to be out-Democratic socialist-ing Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), the original Democratic socialist.

This should all be regarded as welcome news to Republicans, who will enjoy four more years of wins for conservative policy implementation. Meghan McCain may no think so, for a variety of reasons, but she is at least right about the Democrats and their socialist streak that will rot their party from the inside-out.

A piece over at The Conservative Opinion sums the Democrat dilemma up articulately:

“With the 2020 election drawing ever nearer, liberal voters seem increasingly enamored with the concept of socialism, and have embraced a radical shift towards the left leaving Democrat presidential hopefuls scrambling to keep up.”

That race to the lunatic-fringe left will be the undoing of the Democrats in 2020, but there doesn’t seem to be any possibility of closing that deadly spigot. The Party of AOC, Tlaib, and Omar has spent the past two-plus years attempting to legitimize some of society’s most insane behaviors and ideas (i.e., transgenderism, reparations, and the shattering of “presumption of innocence” thanks to #MeToo).

Go ahead, Behars and Democratic socialist-touting lefties of the world, give it your best shot. Meghan McCain is absolutely right to answer their delusions with a simple fact: “[the American] people are smart.”
