If you’ve never been to a Trump Rally, you’re missing out!
The atmosphere is hard to describe. So much goodwill in the air. Everyone united together in one place and you all know you share a common bond. Its pretty cool, I have to say, and something you should experience. I’ve also never met nicer people in a massive crowd setting before. Everyone was extremely courteous and friendly! Imagine that!
So if you live anywhere near Nashville, you’re gonna want to block off your calendars for this one. It will be big.
It will be Wednesday night of next week.
Here are more details from The Hill:
President Trump is scheduled to hold a campaign-style rally next week in Nashville as Republicans ratchet up efforts to pitch their healthcare plan.
The president will speak Wednesday evening at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, according to an event schedule on the Trump campaign website.
A spokeswoman said Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) plans to attend the event, The Tennessean reported.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer only confirmed to reporters that the president would be “traveling next week,” referring questions Thursday about any Nashville event to the campaign.
Nashville Mayor Megan Barry (D), who said she had “heard only the rumors” of the event, spoke with the president on the phone in January and said her focus remains on infrastructure spending, according to The Tennessean.
“My message is still the same, infrastructure for Tennesseans and if we can have some of that [$1 trillion] that he wants to spend on infrastructure and transit bring it our way please.”
According to The Tennessean, protests are being planned in advance of the president’s visit.
Trump similarly held a campaign-style rally in Florida last month, where he railed on the media and vowed to achieve his legislative agenda despite the “lies, misrepresentations and false stories.”
