RINO Jeff Flake Says He Hopes a Democrat Beats Trump In 2020

Former Arizona Senator Jeff Flake (R) just won’t ride off into the sunset and out of the lives of the GOP base. He butted heads with the President and his supporters while he was in the Senate, and he continues to do so in his post-political life.

Republicans have to feel like Jeff Flake has been more of a nuisance than Barack Obama… and Obama has been unemployed for over two years! What the Flakester needs to understand is that he has drifted too far to the left to reach anyone right-of-center.

His attempt to channel his inner-Romney has fallen flat, as he has decided to oppose the President on overtly conservative policy-decisions, all the while, touting his (non-existent) conservative bona fides. He has the audacity to try to attack Trump’s conservative record!

Remember Flake’s performance during then-nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings, when a 30-plus year-old, uncorroborated rape allegation almost derailed the Arizona Senator’s support entirely? All because his “friends” across the aisle cornered him in a room and broke his will…

Conservatives: Tell the aptly named Mr. Flake how you feel about his utter disrespect for your duly-elected President. “An idiot til the bitter end.”

Maybe Jeff Flake is just being an idiot so that he can go on the mainstream media Trump-hate tour, as has anyone who hates Trump and can be plastered on-screen with an “R” next to their name.

CNN loves this, I guarantee it.

The mainstream media and Democrats can’t get enough of anyone who opposes Trump and is willing to trash him on-camera. They’ll book someone like Flake, use him for all he’s worth, then cast him aside as a slightly-less disgusting and lowly Republican establishment slimeball.

Jeff Flake is portrayed as speaking for large swaths of the GOP to CNN, acting like a puppet for everything the left thinks about President Trump:

“Former Republican Sen. Jeff Flake would prefer a Democrat win the 2020 election than have President Donald Trump serve a second term, saying that ‘four years is difficult enough to unravel some of the damage’ done internationally by the administration.

Flake, a longtime Trump critic who argued Thursday that the Republican Party should not support Trump in 2020, was asked if it is better for a Democrat to win the election if Trump is the Republican nominee.
‘Yes … and this notion, this narrative that’s been built up, that Donald Trump is the only one that can cobble together the Electoral College and win is just a fallacy,’ Flake replied at an Intelligence Squared debate in New York City.
‘I think that four years is difficult enough to unravel some of the damage that has been done internationally to our role, to our leadership position. We cannot, should not go another four years,’ the Arizona Republican said.”
CNN and the DNC are delusional, if they truly believe that a whiny Jeff Flake calling for a Trump loss in 2020 will move the needle in their direction. If anything, hearing from anti-conservative Flake can be seen as something to fire up the Republican base.
If there is any question whether GOP voters despise Mr. Flake, take a look at this poll taken in Arizona after the Senator pulled his 11th hour stunt during the Kavanaugh hearings, covered over at Roll Call:

“After he [Flake] played a central role delaying the confirmation vote of Supreme Court Brett Kavanaugh last week, GOP Sen. Jeff Flake’s favorability numbers in his home state of Arizona did something weird.

They flipped.

A new poll of likely voters in Arizona’s upcoming midterm elections conducted Monday and Tuesday found that Democrats view the retiring Republican more favorably than voters registered in his own party — and it’s a wide gap.

More than half, 59 percent, of Democrats in the OH Predictive Insights/ABC15 survey said they viewed Flake favorably, compared to only 20 percent of Republicans.

All told, just 38 percent of likely Arizona voters polled had favorable impressions of Flake. Fifty-four percent — including 71 percent of Republicans and 34 percent of Democrats — viewed him unfavorably.”

Notice how his favorability among Democrats increased to well over 50%—how surprising? All of this is to say that the CNNs and MSNBCs of the world will continue to seek any anti-Trump voice, especially one who can claim to be a Republican, to attempt to portray their view as being that of a reasonable portion of GOP voters.

It won’t work. Republicans are smarter than that. What’s next for Flake? He’ll probably write a tell-all book about his staunch opposition to the “evil empire” that is the Trump administration.

Here’s conservative writer Brent Bozell: an excellent excoriation of the Flakester by a GOP stalwart:
