The fans of the NFL have been strangely ignored in the mainstream media narrative. Liberal pundits say that TV ratings are down because of smart phones, and claim dwindling attendance is just part of a “cycle.”
As for the boos echoing throughout stadiums when players disrespect the flag? La-la-la.
In a fresh tweet on the NFL today, Trump told Roger Goodell in no uncertain terms why his league is losing.

The NFL is now thinking about a new idea – keeping teams in the Locker Room during the National Anthem next season. That’s almost as bad as kneeling! When will the highly paid Commissioner finally get tough and smart? This issue is killing your league!…..

OOH! That hit right where it hurts.
Liberals are weakly counter-attacking with cries about “Roy Moore!” and how Trump is obsessed with sports.
But we all know there’s more to what’s going on with the NFL than just sports.
More from Newsmax:
President Donald Trump ripped into the NFL again on Wednesday, questioning when “highly paid” commissioner Roger Goodell is finally going to get “tough and smart” regarding player protests during the national anthem.
And Trump warned the issue is “killing” the league.
The Washington Post reported Tuesday that some NFL owners are looking at the possibility of keeping players in the locker room while the anthem is played next season.
“I think that if players are still kneeling at the end of the year, then it could very well happen,” said one person familiar with the owners’ discussions.
Goodell hears the arguments of Left and Right-wing media, and is trying to thread a needle and somehow please both sides.
That’s fine, but what about the FANS, Roger? You know…those people who pay your salary. Soon they may dislike you as much as they dislike your league’s disgusting pre-game ceremonies.
