Remember all of the Democrats, media members, and Hollywood stars who claimed they would leave the country if Donald Trump were elected? It seems that putting one’s money where one’s mouth is is much easier said than done.
In fact, it must be impossible, seeing as how a whopping zero individuals who claimed they would flee the country actually currently resides outside of the United States. Why is that?
The reason is an obvious one to conservatives. America is the greatest nation on earth, still, even after decades of liberals chipping away at the foundational principles which undergird our union.
However, there are still some who claim it is so difficult to live in America, claiming third-world countries seem like appealing alternatives. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is one of the primary voices espousing the utter illogical notion that returning to a war-torn African territory might be preferable to living in 2019 America.

Tucker’s castigation of Omar is outlined over at The Federalist Papers:
“Have you heard a lot recently about how Ilhan Omar doesn’t like Israel and that’s definitely true. She does not like Israel.
But you’ve probably heard next to nothing about how Omar does not like this country. It doesn’t bother anything anybody. It should. This is what Omar told Vogue Arabia, she described living in the United States as quote an every day assault. America is so racist and hateful, she says, that she feels, quote: Threatened, demonized and vilified every day.
It’s difficult for her to even go to work. In many ways things were easier growing up in refugee camp in Kenya she says quote when you are a kid and raised all black all Muslim environment nobody really talk to us about your identity. You just are. There is freedom in knowing that you are accepted as your full self, unquote.”
Rep. Omar may need to rethink her line of reasoning, here. Is it possible that her feeling “threatened, demonized, and vilified every day” stems from her raging anti-Semitism?
If America is so racist and so hateful, then why is Omar’s party working so hard to flood the nation with immigrants? What is she even doing here, if her very freedom and safety are being threatened daily?

“Omar’s country collapsed as a child. She lived for years in Kenya in refugee camp. She may have died there without outside help. But help came from where? From here, America. And this country didn’t just welcome Ilhan Omar to America, we paid to relocate her family and many others from a foreign continent purely for the sake of being good people.

How does she repay her adopted country the one that literally saved her life? She attacks it as hateful and racist and for that she is applauded by our Democratic Party.
But is that what is best for America? Here is another suggestion we should think about. Maybe our immigration system should prioritize people who actually like this country and are grateful to be here.”
Yes, our immigration system should prioritize those who generally agree with the values America holds dear. American citizens should care about whether those who seek to enter this country actually like and appreciate the existence of the greatest nation in human history.
Why? It’s simple: if individuals who hate this country or wish it to be something different—something less, perhaps—are allowed carte blanche to run roughshod over our values and institutions, then all that originally made America great will be in jeopardy.
That is, however, exactly what the Democrat Party wishes for this nation. Americans need to wake up to this fact and reject that agenda.
